Benjamin Franklin’s Virtues

There’s something comforting in learning of the humanity in brilliant minds. Learning that our favorite technology genius is lovably absent-minded makes us feel like we can relate, if just for a moment. Similarly, this list of virtues that Benjamin Franklin was working on, beginning at age 20, is equal parts inspiration and common sense that provides amazing insight into one of our Founding Fathers.

Consider this deceptively simple gem, “TRANQUILLITY. Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.”
